All of my lamp, sconce, chandelier or furniture designs are unique. They are based on ideas from my observations. I strive to match the final finish to the particular lamp to match the style and character of the lamp. I offer the choice of a Rawhide Lamp Shade or a Lined Linen Lamp shade with several of my lamps as the lamp may fit into several varied decors. But with a few of my lamps, I offer only the Rawhide Lamp Shade. The reasoning is that the particular lamp, for instance the Large Arrow Table Lamp, is a uniquely western design. The Lined Linen Shade would not be suited to the lamp or the surroundings. That lamp would be chosen for a bedroom in a home that possibly has log walls, heavily distressed wood floors and Hopi or Navajo Indian blankets hanging from the walls as decorative features. The bed might be a log bed with barn wood side tables--a perfect place to rest the Large Arrow Table Lamp with a Rawhide Lamp Shade.
